As part of the Cityscapes initiative, Heywood & Condie have been commissioned to install a work in a newly opened vault of the Old Vic Tunnels, under Waterloo Station in London. Following Chelsea Flower Show, Glamourlands: A Techno-Folly will transform into a subterranean fungal garden, the original landscape becoming more abstract and the planting evolving to cope with the pitch black of the vault. Cityscapes is a series of cross-disciplinary collaborations aimed at producing innovative green spaces in the cultural heartland of London's South Bank and Bankside.
